These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GurukulAI website (gurukulai.in, app.gurukulai.in) and the GurukulAI Android app (the "Service"), operated by Sagar Kottagattu, operating as GurukulAI, Sironcha, Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra 442504, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GurukulAI is an AI-assisted learning tool for UPSC Civil Services aspirants. It offers AI evaluation of Mains answers, an AI mentor ("Ask Guru"), previous-year-question practice and progress tracking. GurukulAI is an independent service and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) or any government body.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be 18 or older, or use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it.
• One account is for one person. Sharing or reselling accounts is not allowed.

3. Plans, credits and pricing

• Free — new accounts receive 10 free evaluation credits. Ask Guru and PYQ practice are free.
• Basic — ₹199 per month or ₹1,799 per year; 100 evaluation credits per billing period.
• Pro — ₹399 per month or ₹3,499 per year; 300 evaluation credits per billing period.
• Credit top-ups — one-time packs: 10 credits for ₹79, 30 for ₹199, 75 for ₹449 and 150 for ₹799.

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. We may change prices with prior notice, and changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by our payment partners (Razorpay, or Google Play when purchased through the Play Store) and are subject to their terms. You can cancel at any time from the Profile screen in the app; cancellation stops future renewals. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the answers and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content only to provide the Service to you. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes anyone's rights, or that you do not have permission to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to break its security, overload it, scrape it, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. AI-generated feedback

Evaluations, scores and responses are generated by artificial intelligence for learning purposes. They are guidance only, may contain errors, and do not predict or guarantee your marks or results in any UPSC examination.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and the content we create, belongs to us and is protected by law. You may not copy or redistribute it without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gadchiroli, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
